PROGAS implements projects aimed at providing customers with industrial gases on a long-term basis using the BOO model (Build — Own — Operate).
BOO is a business model that enables customers to delegate auxiliary production processes to a specialized company which allows focusing management, investment and other resources on the core business.
PROGAS constructs and subsequently operates and maintains air separation or hydrogen units at customers' site using its own resources at its own cost and expense. The resulting products are then supplied at agreed prices under long-term contracts covering 15 years or longer periods.
No capital expenditures at the investment stage of a project
No process risks in selecting equipment and suppliers
Reduced costs of upkeeping and maintaining property, plant and equipment
Optimized provision of the company with industrial gases
Reduced profit tax due to the recognition of costs in the operational phase (or the ability to reduce the company's profit tax by purchasing industrial gases as a resource/feedstock)
No need to invest in non-core assets
Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC)
PROGAS implements turnkey air separation and hydrogen unit construction projects under EPC terms (Engineering — Procurement — Construction).
